"Horsepower is how hard I hit the wall.  Torque is how much of the wall I take with me."

In 2007, Ron spent many nights at OSW wheeling this Super Stock that he built.  This was a potent combination.  He won lots of races, and enjoyed coming from the back of the pack to do it.
Todd and Hoot Flynn join Ron in victory cirle in 2007.
THE EARLY DAYS
ENDUROS
This was a Southern Pro Truck that was owned by Ray Curtis and driven by our hero.  The team had a great night at Hialeah; they set fast time and won the race.
Shirley and Mike DiCandio owned this '64 Chevelle that Ron drove to a win at Eau Gallie Speedway.
He won a pair of 200 lappers that were run against a stellar field of racers from across the country, and managed to do it in one of his best looking cars.
This was Don Smith's, Ford powered LLM at New Smyrna.
Concord Speedway, NC
This was the scene after one of Ron's biggest wins, the Maxx Card race.

The Maxx company produced and sold very popular collector cards that featured NASCAR racers.  After winning, Ron found himself featured on a Maxx card too!
Check out the pink tie!  Ron picks up some hardware at the 1992 FASCAR banquet, and has some fun with Oglethorpe promoter "Crazy Jack"
Racing buddy Gary Bramlett owned this LM.
Here is Ron's '66 Chevelle that he ran at Eau Gallie.
This Camaro flipped end-over-end at Putnam Speedway, so naturally Ron repaired the body work in his own meticulous way.  Here he is shown after a dirt win at Orange County Raceway.
Grampa Ed McCreary finished 6'th in his first and only race.
This was in the Bomber class at Orlando Speedworld.  Ed was 76 at the time!
Somebody decided to get fancy with the old Instamatic.
This was a LM that Ron drove at Eau Gallie, and to the season championship at Orlando.

This was Vero Beach Speedway in a Dodge owned by Midge Garland.
Ron prefers pavement racing to dirt, but he got it done this night at Volusia in his first dirt car.
After Volusia was paved, Ron was back to his winning ways.
Here is the same Ford LM, but with some more recent body work.
RON'S RAP SHEET
Here is the proof!
Here is some dirt track action from the late 1990's on the quarter mile clay track in Orlando.
Here is the new ride for 2009: a vintage Buick Electra with a 455 C.I. engine.

Ron raced it in the V-8 Bombers at Auburndale Speedway, and in the Strictly Stocks at Orlando Speedworld.

Technically, this car is a hybred.  No it does not have an electric motor (not yet), but the body work is not all original Buick.
